AGS Poll: Week 4 Top 25 Results
After a couple relatively dull weeks we were due for a shake-up in the AGS Top 25 and we got one in week 4 after 10 losses from previously top 25 ranked teams – 8 of which were to FCS opponents. The very top stayed unchanged however as North Dakota State, Montana, and South Dakota once again claimed the top 3 spots in that order. Sac State used a dominant win over FBS Colorado State to move up 3 spots to #4 and Montana State slid back into the top 5 rounding it out at #5.
The other teams moving up were headlined by Southeastern Louisiana who vaulted up 8 spots to #13 following a thrilling last second victory over previously top 5 ranked Incarnate Word. Richmond, riding a 3 game win streak, moved up 6 spots to #18. Elon made their first appearance in the top 25 this year jumping up 11 spots to #20 after a big win over William & Mary. Southern Illinois made their way back into the top 25 after their 2nd straight win coming in at #22. Austin Peay and Southeast Missouri State each made their first appearances in the top 25 this year coming in at #23 and #25, respectively.
Incarnate Word led the teams that dropped this week as they fell 5 spots to #10 after their aforementioned loss to SLU. William & Mary took a 6 spot tumble to #19 following their previously mentioned loss to Elon. Villanova plummeted 11 spots to #21 after a shocking loss to unranked Monmouth. UC Davis, Eastern Kentucky, Rhode Island, and North Dakota all fell out of the top 25 after dropping games on Saturday.
In terms of conference representation, the Big Sky and CAA led the way each placing 5 teams into the top 25. They were followed by the MVFC and SOCON with 4 each and the OVC and Southland with 2 teams each in the top 25. Once again 9 different conferences were represented in the top 25.

Ep. 225 – 2022-0921 – Wk3 REVIEW
We have some trouble with numbers in this episode, a lot of trouble. But it’s a fun listen in spite…I mean because of that. On top of that the Bison streak over FBS big timers is broken this past weekend. Then Delaware makes a statement. Is it too early to call them destroyers?

AGS Poll: Week 3 Top 25 Results
It was a pretty calm week again this week with only 3 losses to FCS foes amongst last week’s top 25 but there were some teams on the move regardless. North Dakota State maintained its position at #1 despite losing to FBS Arizona. They were followed by Montana at #2 and South Dakota State who moved up a spot to #3. Missouri St made their first appearance ever in the top 5 of the AGS Poll moving up two spots to #4. Incarnate Word maintained their position at #5.
There wasn’t much for big moves up this week as the only teams from last week’s top 25 to move up more than two spots were Samford and North Dakota who each moved up 3 spots to #20 and #21, respectively. Richmond got back into the top 25 moving up 2 spots to #24 and Furman made their first appearance in the top 25 this season moving up 7 spots to #25.
Teams moving down were headlines by Montana State and Villanova who each moved down 3 spots to #6 and #10, respectively, after lopsided losses to FBS opponents. Rhode Island dropped 6 spots to #23 after losing to CAA rival Delaware. East Tennessee State and New Hampshire each fell out of the top 25 after taking week 3 losses.
In terms of conference representation, the Big Sky led the way again placing 6 teams into the top 25. They were followed by the CAA with 5, the MVFC and SOCON with 4 each, and the Southland with 2 teams in the top 25. Once again 9 conferences were represented in the AGS Top 25.
