The showdown in Brookings was well worth the wait.
Adam Coffield broke loose on a 4th and inches from the Bizon’s own 29 yard line with 2 and half minutes remaining for the game winner. Jack’s QB J’Bore Gibbs went down in the first half with a leg injury and did not return. NDSU rushed it for 332 yards to the Jackrabbits 220. Neither team moved the ball much through the air and didn’t even try to with a total of 30 attempts between the two teams.
